The progress of "The inimitable Peter"

The progress of "The inimitable Peter" (my Grandson) R.O'N

During the first years of Peter’s life, whilst Pat and Dot were living so far away from their family, in Forres, Bob wrote a journal of Peter’s childhood based on updates which Pat (Peter's Father) sent to Bob and Selina, so they did not miss out. This is an almost daily update on Peter’s progress, and is interspersed with Pat’s drawings of his son Peter, which Bob glued in.

It is a long, loving and joyful reflection on the early days of a child who was clearly totally adored. You can read this below.

The progress of "The inimitable Peter" - addendum
Veronica O'Neal (2nd wife)

After Peter’s death, his second wife, Veronica, decided to add to The Progress of "The inimitable Peter", originally collated by Bob O’Neal, so many years earlier. I referred to the original part (on the left) as being a celebration of love. Now, in this addendum, we can see Veronica’s view of Peter’s adult life in her writing. On a personal note, I feel that much of the content is the writer's opinion of events, and as such probably  reflects the writer more than the subject itself. This is why although it has been written into the original book written by Peter’s Grandfather, I have separated it. The reader can make their own mind up about this, and can find the second part available to read below.
